WHY
EXPERT? |
ANZAC Day Expert is for those longing to engage on
a pilgrimage of your own. We take you to the scared grounds both
before and after the highly populated Dawn Service and National
Ceremonies. Without the crowds you can get to the heart of the ´digger´
in your own way, explore the tragic trenches in solitude, with
peace and respect. There is no other way to fully experience and
understand the isolation, fear and sacrifice than by staying on
the shores in a small and close group. This tour takes on all
the emotions and haunting memories with visits to cemeteries,
battle grounds and memorials. We will ensure your knowledge is
expanded and great emotional depths are reached, Least we forget.
|
Stay in Gallipoli for 3 nights.
Travel Talk is dedicated to ensuring you
have a memorable time
in the right ways. During the time spent at Gallipoli you will
have 3 nights in Gallipoli (2 overnight stays
in a hotel besides the Dawn Service eve
& night); this keeps travelling to a minimum, and allows you to
be restored both before and after an emotional Dawn Service and
also to better explore and encompass the spirit and history of
the cove. |
Touch the memory by extensive discovery
of the
sights!
By visiting all the shores, strategic and vital military points,
memorials and fields
of the battle,
you can experience the
lingering atmosphere of comradeship, courage and sacrifice.
People today still invoke the ANZAC spirit in times of conflict,
danger and hardship and live by the mateship motto: others
before self.
This tour shall encompass the laughter, the pride,
mutual support and the love of life that is in every Australian
and New Zealander. |
Visit Gallipoli without the crowds!
Unlike the majority of visitors to Gallipoli, Expert tours
allow the time and opportunity to explore your surroundings in
peace and tranquility and outside the height of Anzac Day itself,
which sees more than 10,000 people flock to the area. |

Day 2 Istanbul (B)
Today we fist make our way to the shore to visit the world
famous Spice Market. We then cross the Galata Bridge built
on the Golden Horn and stop by the Galata Tower to enjoy the
fantastic view of Istanbul overlooking Bosphorus, Asia, the
old city and the Princes' Islands. Our tour continues with a
walk up to Taksim Square (modern part of the city) through
the Istiklal Street, the most popular pedestrian road
connecting the past to present. There are numerous
restaurants, bars, cafes, pubs and shops located on this
famous street. During the Ottoman time, the area was
occupied by foreign forces and had a great importance on the
independence war of Turkey. |

|
Day 3 Istanbul (B)
After breakfast we start to discover the magnificent sights
in the old town of Istanbul including the Blue Mosque,
Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace, Underground Cistern and the
Hagia Sophia Museum. Today we'll learn loads about the
Ottoman history, the foundation of modern Turkey, and
Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the commander of the Gallipoli
Campaign who had founded the Republic of Turkey in 1923.
In the evening we join the Welcome Party on the
Bosphorus Cruise Boat. We spend memorable hours on the
fascinating strait between Asia and Europe cruising along
the Ottoman palaces, mansions, fortresses and the impressive
natural beauty of the waterside.

Day 4 Istanbul, Gallipoli (B) TOUR GALLIPOLI WITHOUT THE
CROWDS!
After breakfast we depart Istanbul for Gallipoli. Please
remember that most of the Anzac Day Tours arrive in the area
on the 24th, so we'll be there on the 22nd and have enough
time (and days) to visit all the sights in great
convenience.
After the
orientation tour in Gallipoli area, we visit Kabatepe War
Museum and Anzac Cove and listen to the stories about the
legendary campaign from our expert Anzac guide. Late in the
afternoon we check into our
hotel in the Gallipoli region. Kindly bear in mind that due
to low number of decent hotels in the area, we have chosen
the best possible 3 star hotels (locally rated) for our
groups. Free time to explore this small town on your own. |

Day 5 Gallipoli (B) TOUR GALLIPOLI WITHOUT THE
CROWDS!
A hectic day is awaiting us. Today we will visit all the
impressive sights in Gallipoli area including Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair, Jonston's Jolly, North Beach, Ari Burnu, Hell
Spit, Brighton Beach, Shrapnel Valley, Artillery Road,
Quinn's Post, Turkish Memorial, the Nek and Walker's Ridge.
A full day of pilgrimage understanding in depth the Spirit
of Anzac :
today
we stand safe and free, clothed with all the privileges and
rights of citizens in our free countries. And all these
things - liberty, security, opportunity, the privileges of
citizenship - we owe to those men who fought, endured,
suffered, and died for us and for their country. Their deeds
and their sacrifices gave us the invincible, the intangible,
the Spirit of ANZAC. The sights we visit are true
reflections of this spirit and provide us with the perfect
opportunity to share the thoughts of the men who fought and
lost their lives right here, in Gallipoli. Late in the
afternoon we return to our hotel.

95th anniversary of the Gallipoli Campaign.

|
Day 7 Dawn Service, Ceremonies, Istanbul

highlight and the main reason of our presence in Gallipoli. We spend memorable and emotional moments in

their lives here in Gallipoli. After Dawn Service we walk up
